WZWW GM Michael McGough was a featured panelist at the Penn State University College of Communications Advanced Resume Workshop. Between 50 and 60 students participated. Mr. McGough consulted individual students on career opportunities in broadcasting. WZWW General Manager Michael McGough is an instructor of Communications at Penn State University-University Park. During this period he taught Communications 384, Broadcast Sales & Promotion (Spring 2007 and Fall 2007). WZWW operates a sanctioned Internship Program with Penn State University in consultation with Mr. Robert Martin, Assistant Dean for Internships & Career Placement for the College of Communications. During this period, WZWW provided internships for eight students in areas of sales (4), promotion (1), news (1) and programming (2). In January 2008, WZWW General Manager Michael McGough was guest lecturer for Career Day at Penns Valley High School, Milheim, PA. WZWW was represented by GM Michael McGough. Our exhibit provided information on careers in broadcasting, career opportunities with First Media Radio, LLC, and a profile of WZWW. The Job Expo was attended by approximately 500 students. The Penn State College of Communications at University Park is America's largest accredited college of communications. |
